Escape Idea

Hello people, and Jon.
First off, your show is the second best show ever!
I love it really much, and thanks to the excitement I get from watching your show I made myself nearly nailless.
There is one way though, to make your show rise the first place ;)
When at night I was going to the bathroom, I decided not to turn on the lights not to wake up everyone.
So I got to the bathroom, and it just so happens, that the only window was 2 rooms away... So the darkness was... overwhelming.
I wanted to leave the bathroom, but I was completely lost, I had no orientation at all...
I wonder thus... What if you'd try to escape from a completely dark apartment consisting of... 3 rooms?
All three rooms have normal room accessories and every room has a door which is locked of course...
You may not see the rooms at all, you must be brought in blindfolded, and the rooms must have ideal darkness.
I would love to see you escape from it.
But I guess you would like to have some danger involved?
Let your genius Terry Stroud think up something. :)

I started watching your show not a long time ago, so I don't really know if this has already been done.
I am sorry if it has.

That's the reason why you're so close to the first place. :P
The Mythbusters do crazy things, but... it's so hard to contact them...

OT:
It would be complete awesomeness if that would really be included...
And If not... I will just barrage you with ideas until one of them hits the target :P
I already have a very dangerous idea lol.

A roller coaster nightmare. you are actually tied up to the seat. and u have 30 seconds to get away with it..
and of course, when the time is up, *drum rolls* the roller coaster will accelerate along its route with you actually tied up to the seat!

most of the stunts Jonathan did was quite dangerous.. however, i don't think this one is risky(maybe). instead, u actually could have fun since andrenalin is kicking off from ur body!! and not forgetting a great ride too..

Yeah, I understand what you mean...
I would just like to see a real escapologist escape out of an impossible situation! How are you ever going to escape darkness? Maybe adding decreasing temperature over time will make you go faster >:)
I am sure that even a feather would become dangerous in Terry's hands, he could make my idea dangerous. :)

They rock.
It has become one of those shows that I will even leave my pc for.

Cause I only leave my pc for Mythbusters and OWO now.

Permalink Reply by alexandra paetzold on July 8, 2009 at 5:35am: i love the show 1 way out. i can watch that show anyday,other than mythbusters. also, when he did the water wheel of doom, and it turned out 2 be a failure, and they said it could have been the water presure from the truck. i know why it didn't work. it was because Jonathan didn't do it right. he did his right arm,then he did his left or right foot, which i wrong. he should have done both arms 1st, then do the belt around his waist, then do his legs, and it would have worked out fine.; ▶ Reply to This

If he has been blindfolded the time period prior to entering the dark apartment, his eyes would adjust to the darkness quicker, making it easier for him to escape. If he is not blindfolded, his eyes will have a tougher time adjusting from the outdoor light to the extreme darkness, making it more challenging, unless of course you keep him blindfolded the entire time.

If you dont believe me about the blindfold trick, they tested it on a Mythbusters Pirate Special... they had to travel through an obstacle course in the dark, once being blindfolded beforehand, and once after without the blindfold... and the trial where they hadn't been blindfolded they had a tougher time adjusting to the darkness. Try it out for yourself and you'll notice the difference; ▶ Reply to This
